Tuning into your calling
It requires transcending logic and trusting your inner compass. Aligning your intuition with the rhythm of the universe allowing values and purpose to guide your choices. So what should finding your purpose feel like? It’s where…
“your deep gladness and the worlds deep hunger meet.” Quote by Frederick Buechner.
THERE IS A RISING OF CONSCIOUS CALLING TAKING PLACE RIGHT NOW…
Discovering Personal Callings and Purpose
You can have both an individual and collective purpose or calling.
Spiritual Growth and Personal Journey
To feel into your own calling it’s worth looking at things like:
What patterns have shown up in your life? Do you recognise themes that carry across your personal experiences? Sometimes, dealing with our own personal challenges can actually be the very thing that we are here to help others do/heal/acknowledge.
What has been your GREATEST challenge? There will be one thing that will stand out amongst the rest. What is it? What really pushed you to the edge and beyond? A breaking point, a humbling, a pivot, something that stopped you dead in your tracks and made you think differently. This is a VERY BIG clue as to what your purpose is. Write it out, think about others having a similar experience. How can you help?
Where have you spotted a gap? Where something is ‘missing’? Where others are not seeing or getting something that you do. This might feel obvious or even easy to you, but where others might struggle. Often, what comes easy to us is absolutely part of our purpose.
When in your life have you noticed divine intervention? Whereby a ‘higher force’ seems to intervene and either send you in a different direction or path or gets you to reasses your situation completely, like a life review. Pay attention, this could be something you needed in order to put you on the right path, however hard it might have been at the time.
“Your dharma is you, being YOU full-time.”
This is why authenticity and truth are key. Embracing what you love and feel passionate about is key. What do other people comment on about you? If someone was to describe you in three words, what would they say? Your calling, your purpose is about you being YOU.
Establish daily rhythms instead of daily distractions
Build habits that tune out everyday distractions and create a rhythm that feels heart lead and aligned to your priorities. Your environment can be key in this as well. It’s important to be in a space that works for you. Whether that be the decor, colour choices, feng shui or access to outdoor spaces, make sure it works for you and what you need so you can stay in your own internal rhythm. You are the core of your calling, everything else around you, should support you.
