The power of inner wisdom
There is an all-wise, all-loving being that’s managing all of your problems right now. Just sink into that feeling for a moment. This all-wise, all-loving being knows you inside out, loves you unconditionally and only wants to support you going forwards. You don’t have to think your way out of a problem or challenge it in the way that you have before. Equally you don’t have to avoid or escape anything. You are already loved and accepted, so you don’t have to fear rejection or criticism, when you feel connected in this way.
Who is this being you might ask?
Well, it’s your inner wisdom. The trick, of course, can be accessing your inner wisdom and inner knowing if your default is to deal with matters using your ‘regular thoughts and responses.’ What is even better, is when we learn how to integrate them both!
How to access your inner wisdom:
Allow enough quiet and undistracted time and space to hear the gentle soft voice from within.
Respect your intellect and emotions but don’t become ruled by them. They are important but can sometimes drown out your inner wisdom.
Start to recognise your automatic negative thoughts (ANTs) for what they are, to go deeper into the potential cause that your inner wisdom can help you identify.
Develop the capacity to tolerate uncomfortable feelings, without trying to quickly douse the flames. When you can do this with awareness, you will hear the voice of your inner wisdom.
Be willing to ‘not know’ the answers, at least not right away, so you don’t go into the ‘figure it out’ space that excludes your inner wisdom.
Don’t try to be in control, especially when it comes to outcomes! Allow room for your inner wisdom to help navigate your path as you co-create with the universe.
Be patient and have faith
This kind of work is never easy, otherwise everyone would be doing it and mastering it. So be patient and have faith that you will get there. Practice acceptance, awareness & attention in equal measure and practice courage - take heart in the face of fear. Listen to the wisdom of your body, it has a direct link to information that the mind can bypass. Be in connection with the conditions needed to allow your inner wisdom to permeate.
“I am always open to the connection with my inner wisdom. I am so grateful that it can show itself through my experiences.”
