Anchoring in your desired reality
Your mind wants evidence but your soul knows the truth
People refer to desired reality as something that already exists. It exists in the field, as a frequency, waiting for you to match it. So to achieve it, it becomes about embodying it, being it, breathing it as if it were already your reality. You can think of it like merging with your future self. Your future self isn’t in a location, you are not - over there - you are already existing, doing, being everything you are wanting. Another way to think of it is like a timeline shift. It’s all about trajectory. When you start to move towards your desired reality you create the motion needed to embody it, it’s not about ‘getting there’ it’s much deeper than that and in some ways simpler.
Some questions to ask yourself:
Are you using the same approaches, doing the same things & expecting different results?
This is the part that gets lost in translation. We can just think ourselves into a new way of life, there has to be an action that accompanies the thought and the feeling - all aspects of consciousness that are required to make the shift and create the change. You can consider different approaches to reaching altered states of consciousness to support this work, such as. meditation, self-hypnosis, writing a script, repeating affirmations.
Are you able to drop into 100% belief of it being possible?
This might sound obvious but if you don’t believe with a 100% certainty that your desired reality is possible, it’s likely that it won’t be. If you feel like you’re falling short of the mark, ask yourself gently questions like, what is stopping me from believing this and see what comes through for you. You could do a mini clearing exercise to ramp up that percentage so you are at a full 100%.
Do you fully believe that you deserve it?
This is another biggie, sometimes our sense of what we feel we deserve can be the very thing that trips us up. You have to fully believe that you do deserve it, fully know that realising it DOES NOT take away something from someone else - scarcity is a man-made concept - and step into that version of you that knows you are deserving of your desired reality.
Are you able to let go of old stories about yourself?
The problem with old stories is they become part of our identity, we adopt them and let them define who we are and this creates comfort, no matter how uncomfortable or difficult the story is. A story isn’t about what actually happened, a story is your interpretation of what happened and as a result how it continues to affect you.
Are you ready to embody the version of you that has already achieved your desired reality?
This follows on from the last question. This work is a little bit like the life, death, rebirth cycle, only for our egos. Our egos use identity to help navigate us through the world, when it comes into question or gets stripped back to the point of it barely being there at all, something kicks in. A last ditch attempt to hold onto what’s familiar. This is usually when you know you are on the cusp of a breakthrough, old stuff rises to the surface that the nervous system may interpret as a threat. it’s not, it’s a shedding of a layer of you that no longer works and in truth, isn’t aligned to who you are becoming.
Desired reality as a timeline shift
Key concepts of this approach may include:
The Multiverse: Every choice and potential past or future represents a different timeline. Shifting doesn't "create" your desires out of nothing; it simply directs your conscious awareness to a timeline where those desires already exists.
Shifting vs. Manifesting: While traditional manifestation focuses on drawing outcomes into your current life, timeline shifting is described as completely stepping into an entirely different, parallel life.
Scripting: Many shifters write detailed "scripts" describing exactly what their desired timeline looks like, including sensory details (sights, sounds, emotions) and key people.
Shifting Techniques: Practices to achieve this focus on deep relaxation and detachment from the present. The "Raven Method" (lying in a starfish position and counting to 100 while visualizing) and "Sleeping Methods" (falling asleep while focusing on your DR) are popular.
Physical Sensations: During a successful shift, people often report physical sensations, such as numbness, tingling, a racing heart, or the feeling of floating.
